after years of reluctance i think it's time to make the jump to spotify , so if anyoen knows how to transfer playlists from tidal , to spotify , please let me know , becaus im can't do it song by song .. i have 7 playlists each with 200+ songs which are mostly indie playlists btw

yeah im done with this sideways freaking platform i could EVER imagine having . ive used Tidal since 2019 becaus they had HiFi and i was a student at time so got it cheap and it still has my uni Email attached , but there's soooo many issues with it and im Feel like im living in 2015 .

their autoplay algorithm lately has gone to SH*T . it plays the most left - field crap , im mostly listen to indie music , if someone can tell me why im going from sufjan stevens carrie & Lowell , to tate mcrae and Kim petras .. id appreciate that . their autoplay used to actually be good so im not sure whats Happened in the last year or so .

secondly i still can not use my phone as a remote to control the music on another Device ?? my friend has spotify and he was able to use his phone to control his spotify on my 65" wall - mounted Sony TV connected to my PlayStation 5 from Curry's .. i asked him how he was doing it , he said it's normal and my other friends too . Why the hell cant i do that ? THERE ISNT EVEN A TIDAL APP ON THE PLAYSTATION OR FIRESTICK . I HAVE AMAZON MUSIC INCLUDED WITH PRIME TO LISTEN TO INDIE MUSIC ON MY FIRESTICK ON MY TV

the search feature has also started SUCKING lately . i have fat fingers i cant help it , the mounjaro took my fat away from everywhere but my fingers , i have kwik-e-mart hot-dog fingers . im make typos . on spotify , if you make a typo , the app still knows what you're searching for becaus it has fuzzy searching enabled . on Tidal if you misspell one letter , youre Screwed .

as mentioned earlier , i listen to a lot of indie music , a lot of these artists have hard to spell names .

also THE STORAGE . THE STORAGE !!!!!! a glitch has been happening lately , where tidal will try to play the music video insted of the song . BUT IT TRIES TO DOWNLOAD THE VIDEO TO YOUR DEVICE .it's eating up my storage like crazy . this is a known issue , im looked it up in the Tidal Reddit community . its been going on for YEARS .

every few weeks , i have to go into my storage and 1 by 1 delete hundreds of videos Tidal has downloaded on to my iPeed . it's become a part time job .

and yes i know the Platform got sold a while back and they made a lot of redundancies recently which probably explains why it's been seemingly , left to rot . but they're losing what's left of their loyal customer base . im the only person in my friend group who knows what Tidal even is ..

anyway as mentioned earlier if anyoen knows how to transfer my playlists , i have 7 playlists i want to transfer over . it is mostly indie music , and i have one playlist for 2010's frat party-esque bangers but mostly just indie playlists becaus i listen to a lot of indie music

if i ever pay again for music streaming i would like to go back to tidal

i refuse to pay for spotify and apple music gui is kinda ass (but much better than spotify), but im stuck with yt music since im paying for yt premium

most of the pages you need to pay to import your playlist tho
