I keep coming back to this album. It's really solid and cohesive. My faves are Hit the Wall, Death Wish, Look at My Life, Good Reason, Minibar and Imaginary Friend, but honestly, I like the whole thing.

How come it's virtually impossible to find Out of Nowhere online? I just want to stream it somehow and put it on repeat, but it's like it's been scrubbed from the internet

Oh no. It's one of the best tracks on the album, imo

This is good, fantano needs to register, you just need to be very depressed and at end of your wits to get it

increasingly thinking that this is my AOTY? really interesting to me that this comes out at much the same time as the ariana and charli records cos in a sense they're all different takes on the post fame album, but gracie has done this thing where she's retreated into herself, decided she's not gonna write another that's so true or whatever, but still created this really warm, emotional record, with so much pain in it but so comforting and melodic and beautiful as well, it's such a testament to how talented she is.

like when people say that gracie is this kind of slush merchant i just think, are you f*cking kidding me?! have you heard this album?! she's such a great writer and, esp with audrey starting to succeed on her own now, it feels like rather than them being diminished by working apart, it's more that we got 2 records that play to their individual strengths rather than them having to be together to capture that magic and it just shows how amazing they both are

and just: the f*cking songs on this thing! mews esp has that grandiose classic singer songwriter vibe to it that kinda towers over everything here but, esp thru the second half you get into this territory where they all sound like they're part of a grand suite where everything slots in and sits perfectly together. so you get sober, imaginary friend, afflicted, humming, what if it's right - every one an absolute high point and they just keep coming, like - bam! bam! bam! - all these amazing songs in a row. honestly i don't give a sh*t what people think of her, the more i hear of gracie the more she's one of my absolute faves and just keeps getting better

also, very annoyed i missed the bonus tracks, i guess they're turn up on the deluxe in the end, even good riddance got a deluxe, but i just want more now

it seems what everyone liked about gracie during her last era was because of audrey hobert

gracie wants to be this moody sad folk girlie and audrey was the one providing the pop and spice

got a tape/cd set with this sleeve, i really wish she'd done this as the main one, it's the only one that's at all presentable, like who signs off on her artwork ffs
