Britney - Womanizer appreciation thread

Featured Replies

I get so much nostalgia listening to this; my first Britney era I got to witness

thread?

oh, we would need a whole forum to appreciate this classic jonny4

i'm always a bit twitchy from the conservatorship era onwards but womanizer is just so undeniable, possibly her best song?

One of the best songs and videos of all time and what a comeback my god WAP

I love the modern look of the video. I live for all the joseph khan vids
The guy is so hot. I was crushing so hard jonny3 and loved britney styling there.
She looked sophisticated and dangerous too with the red wig
Love how so many vids from 2007-2008 have some sort of futuristic nightly dark vibe

The song real good but i was confused why she worked with that group of producers only one time
they deserved more. It was a great comeback and paved the way for the success of circus-femme fatale

The Outsyders were messy. Britney was their first big placement and at the time, they went online trashing other artists and claiming Britney was better, so that probably hurt their chances of getting more work with Britney...or anyone else.

K.Briscoe has a lot of lead vocals on Womanizer, apparently Britney was not in a good condition during the recording, so she pretty much had to fill in the blanks.

It's a great song though and came at a good time for Britney career/success wise at least.

I know people hate AI, but this is where it should be used—to hear Britney's voice with that demo. jonny3

same. but i think since it came at a time when the c-ship was still very early, Britney was genuinely excited to get back to work and create a fierce pop visual. all the different looks, choreography, solo scenes, the cheekiness of it all. pure Britney. gaycatney1

yeah, circus i feel is more an attempt to keep the show on the road rather than being as actively coercive as the next couple of albums, parts of it are better than others but the singles esp are some of her best songs, you can feel her in there

Song is so good, MV is so sexy and she inspired me to be a slvt!.mp3 I am today 🤗

kinda grating to listen to ngl. I prefer her other songs in Circus

the absolute collapse when this got released. 96-1

her highest peaking airplay single at the time, #1 digital smash, year end top 10 in Europe at #7 of 2008
