i know she's not a household name, but i also don't think she's some unknown new artist either. She has a lot of visibility, and a recognizable name... people definitely know who Tyla is. And i'm not only looking at the U.S. either, APOP did 4.8M Spotify streams worldwide, which is decent but i honestly thought it would be higher idk... i just felt like there was a lot of buzz around this album and people seemed curious to hear it, so i thought that would show up more in the numbers. i def think the tour is going to be a big turning point for her and really help

ughhhh i'm so confused i can't lie i really thought she'd do way more than that. She's had one of the busiest promo weeks I've seen in a minute (Today show, WNBA, Bratz Doll, Kai Cenat stream, Kate Spade brand deal AND JUST ANNOUCED A TOUR) she's literally been everywhere, and it's only translating to 15k??????? something is just not clicking to me.

I feel like the tour is already planned tbh, she's been teasing it in every interview. I could see them doing a few U.S. dates and then putting more focus on Asia, Europe, and Africa
