Courage came out in November 2019. Her last French-language album came out in August 2016. Plus, with her residency in France, it should not be that surprising she's putting out music in French first.

Erm, her last album was in English

Goldman wrote the song in 2020 and Céline recorded it just last year. So good to hear her recent vocals and the song is absolutely divine.

Although, the weirdest single rollout of her career or atleast, maybe, this is just a promo single or something. No prior announcements and still no official announcement as of writing other than the video teasers on IG story lol.

The song is nice, it obviously doesn't compare to her 90s material or even recent songs like Parler a mon pere but I enjoyed it. What I'm really glad about is that she still sounds great and like herself
