Chanté sounds, unsurprisingly, incredible, and this makes me that much more excited for her next solo project. the whole spoken word thing is just not for me at all, but it brings back cute memories of 'And I Gave My Love to You.'

my point in bringing up the dancing (and the heels in particular) is that she appears to be in a much different state than she was between 3 and 4 years ago when the documentary was filmed. regarding brain stimulus, we know of at least three concerts and multiple hockey games that she attended last year. obviously attending events is different than putting them on, but that she could handle them (presumably without any issues) could be another reason for her confidence.

well, we should keep in mind that the documentary was filmed 3-4 years ago (that scene was filmed in 2022). quite recently we saw a candid vid of her dancing in high heels, which on its own suggests that she is probably in much better health than she was then.

I mean, regarding your first point, not really. both of the peripheral projects have already fallen below Take Care on the Billboard Top 200. regarding your second point, no one is acting as if ICEMAN is lighting the European charts on fire, but there is a difference between performing 'spectacularly well' and bombing. we might as well agree to disagree, however. one thing that is for certain is that his alleged upcoming European tour dates will do phenomenally.

well, they weren't meant to be close, and anyone who suggests otherwise is misinformed. the other two projects (one of which is dance, the other slow r&b songs) were put out with the intent of getting out of his contract. if he had released singles for them (besides Which One, a ten month-old droplet as far as we knew), then it would be a bit of a different story. I suppose that there is still time.
