Agreed. I trust Olivia and Dan. They care about the music they make. They're perfectionists. If they love this song not only enough to put it on the album, but to feature it as the lead single, you can be guaranteed it's gonna be a damn good song.

She never shares snippets that have actual lyrics in them. Vampire she did the same thing with the piano intro and y'all cried about it being a ballad. You're not going to get a real snippet before Friday, it's not what she does.

I really hope it's good. A pre release single that is not well received (yes and?, aperture) can severely tank an album's hype and this album honestly has the most hype I have seen in a long time for an artist who isn't Taylor Swift

She's being very dumb by not even writing "4 days til my new song is out" on these TikToks videos. Her die hard fans are having to explain whats happening to people on the comments because they simply don't know the song exists.

The snippet is great sounds more like the synthy side of indie rock. Seems more midtempo than upbeat it probably started out as a ballad

It's not a bubblegum pop song or "Firework" by Katy Perry that has been mentioned here.

That description is feature on her British Vogue interview and it fits what we know about the song so far, even the "feminine intuition" thing.

it does sound very similar to aperture (which i really liked unlike a lot of other people). i don't know why so many people are worried about her not debuting at #1 and or "tAnKiNg", mind you this is probably the most hyped single release since Aperture and The Subway. i'm sure she will be fine. people are hungry for a early summer hit and i'm sure that this will be it.

vampire did 18.6m on US Spotify in the first week. If she does the same now, it's already enough for a top 10 debut based on Spotify streams alone.

I'd say it's very unlikely she won't be #1.
