But the song itself will be the best promo. Word will spread once it's out. It'll be all over TikTok, etc…

I've got multiple screenshots of the exact situation, one comment has 100k likes saying they didn't even know the song is out this week.

If the snippet we're talking about is the one posted to her Tiktok 3 days ago, it sounds promising. Mid/up tempo synthy sound.

I do hope she promotes more internationally this era guts era promo was a grammy campaign and a dream.

Plus, this album has potential to be big for her globally if it's a sound change.

That's what I was thinking. The US/UK love her and will support no matter the sound. I want a global hit now.

At the end of the day, I'd take a #2-#3 peak with a smash song than a Manchild, Aperture, I just Might, and even Vampire situation. I hate when songs hit #1 because of artist popularity and they aren't well known outside of their fanbase/pop stan world. Choosin Texas has been bumped by like 3 of these types of one week #1 from major artists just for all of those songs to underperform in the long run

Y'all are panicking for no reason. There's no way to know if she's "shadow banned" until the song actually comes out. If TikTok or whatever does have a problem with the title, I'm sure the label will figure something out. Either promote it as "drop d**d" or something or get in touch with the platforms. Plenty of explicit songs still manage to get popular on social media.

This "peak" obsession needs to stop... Whenever this goes #1 or not, will not matter in the long term.

Sabrina's biggest song Espresso peaked at #3

Hell, Man I Need reached #2 only, and it's bigger than any #1 we had this year.

Plus, when it comes to Olivia, traitor, has her best recurring streams (deservedly so, cuz it's in her top 5 songs), despite not even going top 5 on Hot 100.

As long as the song is good, she'll be fine and have longevity

That's exactly what I'm saying. I know I'm in the camp of worrying about its performance, but it's as simple as, if the song is good, then it will hold its big first few day numbers
