I don't think it's a breakup song. If this is the song with the "sticky sweet" lyric (she's also wearing a "super sweet" pin in the clip) then it was one of the songs she wrote before her festival run spring/summer of last year.

Assuming she's gonna get a radio deal the same way she did with vampire, 25-27 million radio impressions that should be set. Sales wise, I'm surprised the CD's and vinyl aren't sold out yet but either way vampire she had 15k in stock and sold 27k. If she can get around 30k sales the first week, she'd probably need around 37-40 million streams in the first week. Which would mean she'd probably have to debut at around 4-4.5 million streams the first day and stabilize around 2.5 for the rest of the week

1) she's not going to have a drivers license type week. She would be pulling over 600 chart points.

2) RSD will be a non factor. She's printed 200k vinyls which equates to 200 chart points and would place ET around 260 points. Assuming Taylor doesn't release an iTunes remixes to it, there's no way she can surpass Olivia.

3) if she does release remixes, Olivia would just need to release some of her own to hold her off. Taylor is Taylor, but I genuinely can't see her forcing a #1 hit from a song averaging 50-50 chart points right now.

I don't think she'll have the numbers she did for Opalite or BTS had for Swim though. People were able to preorder those with weeks in advance. Record Store Day is supposed to get people to get off their asses and go to their local stores. They'll probably allow online orders afterwards but still won't have the strength of multiple weeks of preorders.

Is Ella a bigger threat to her than Taylor. I expect she will do really well and has alot of momentum now.

We will see about a week from now when her album bomb levels out. She wouldn't be a threat at this point if her song streams level back to what they have been this week. If she starts averaging 2 million plus a day and sustains it then it's gonna be harder for Olivia.

Absolutely. She and Dan both love a change up.

With vampire, they teased the first few piano notes and then the guitars right before the bridge. So I think the next teaser will be totally different.
