I think there's a lot of complex stuff going on with the black community and their relationship to Kanye … stuff I'm frankly not qualified to spend too much time ruminating on or attempting to explain

One thing I think is definitely true in all of this: if at the time Kanye started spouting just unbridled , unmitigated pure anti-semitism ….. if he had had the foresight and frankly the actual knowledge to direct his consternation at ISRAEL specifically instead of making blanket statements about all Jews and praising hitler , he'd be in a much different social standing right now than where he currently stands, but I do think he's just a straight up anti-Semite at the end of the day and the fact that he's seeing people in the industry gravitate back towards him will only embolden those beliefs he's currently trying to downplay for the chance of getting back in people's good graces
