I will never understand Netflix to not have promoted both Golden and Soda Pop/Your Idol simultaneously in August. This being serviced to radio just now feels so random (and unnecessary).

they did push Soda Pop. it had playlisting, airplay and they released a lyric video back then.

They're not even a real group right? idgi. The first one, sure. It was a part of promo for the movie. But that's way over now.

Netflix should've gotten a deal with some label for them to become an actual group and make an actual album (or at least an EP) to come out this summer while developing a second movie, and had the sequel out by summer 2027. A hugely missed opportunity. They probably could've done a mini tour and everything with all the hype they had.

Ejae is solo touring and tbh, she's the only one that matters. the next soundtrack will smash and she will very likely get a solo deal (and flop).

Every time I hear this one, I think of that ddu du song by blackpink. I like this song more, but it's a testament to how EJAE was trying to write faithfully to the kpop genre
