Loreen, the first artist to release a lead single 3 years before the album release, change labels, release 6 other singles in between and change labels again to release the album

so there was an announcement for this announcement which is in fact an announcement for an announcement which we will know in 1,5 days? we love a complex queen

I love this album and I love Loreen, but she deserved to commercially bomb this era. To waste a HISTORIC eurovision win and wait 3 years to finally prepare an album pandering to masses when 95% lost interest and forgot about her is one of the worst mistakes I have ever seen in this industry. Again, I was 1000% sure she was going to eurovision because she had an album ready and it was a great way to remind about herself and when it turned out nothing was ready I've thought "GIRL, what are you doing????". After the win she should have locked herself in a studio in between performances, concerts and other public appearances, revisit her unreleased material, scrapped songs - ANYTHING, to come up with an album for the fall of 2023. If she released this album at that time - it would be quite a hit! And now she is nowhere near the charts.

I hope this flop will finally be a wake up call for her team and her and after the tour she locks herself in the studio and prepares an album for her fans (not trying to mass appeal, no short songs, no outdated dance music, go back to RIDE and HEAL type of creativity) and release it by the end of next year, start of 2028. There is no chance for her to win eurovision again to revive her career and if she takes another 8 years to make an album - she might start looking for other job since by that time she will not have a career in music anymore.

A-men.

There's another leak I Am What I Am that is supposed to be released in two weeks and guess what. It ends after the second chorus.

I like how most of her previous material built up to a huge dramatic final but most of her new stuff ends so abruptly. I hope she changes that next era but knowing Loreen her next era will come in 2032

Yeah, this is the Sofiane song for his album. Nothing to do with Wildfire.

Her publisher seriously needs to watch for the leaks rip

just listened to it and after the first listen sounds like an acoustic version or demo of the trackdies

I've not listened but as above, it's important to note this is Sofiane Pamart's song for his album. He is a piano player so I would expect it to be a lot less production wise

Now I can say that the album is a grower one. Enjoying it a lot now.

Do we know who wrote/produced Echo and No Promises yet?

Same writers as Melt and I'm assuming production is same also

CORRECTION: Echo is the same as Melt, No Promises has Jon Shave instead of Oliver Peterhof

This.

I really am mad at her for this. After winning Melfest, and seeing that Tattoo was a winning song, she should have prepared an album. Or, as we all know that she has 2, 3, even more albums ready on her hard drive (ATLAS projet, the Swedish album she mentioned when she was promoting Sötvattentårar, plus all the demos and finished songs she has), she could have dropped an album after Eurovision even without going to the studio at all. She waited FIVE (5) months to release Is it love ...

When I met her last year in Lyon for the tour, I took the VIP package and I got selected by her to ask a question after the soundcheck. I asked something like "We know that you are a very productive artist, that you have tons of material ready on your laptop, why do you release so few singles ? is there something that refrain you from releasing more often ?" (something like this, I was too stressed to remember correctly). She answered "very interesting question, not an easy one. You know sometimes you think you are ready, that the song is ready, and suddenly the universe, or your label, tells you that it's not the right time" (once again, not the exact verbatim, but something like this). She clearly mentioned the labels and herself. I'm not surprised that the labels wanted her to release certain type of songs, when maybe she was into something totally different. Maybe she couldn't express herself, she accepted things she didn't want to ... Maybe someday we will know.

To conclude, I think that she should just go indie, create her own little label, produce and release all her songs herself and voila. She would be a free artist. She could hire some of us to create the promo rollout as we all know she doesn't know how to post an Instagram story. Maybe she'd be happier this way :)

Missing a typo

that's so interesting, liamapi.

I hope/think that this album is the product of what the label wanted from her. Especially the tiktok lengths feel weird to me.

I really hope she'll release something someday that's up to her usual standard. I mean Sages was good!

All of this, basically. Though I'm more afraid her team will drop her instead of catching up to the current times rip

forgot about this. listening now but wtf

Wildfire did not enter the Swedish Albums Chart, but peaked at number 11 on the Swedish Physical Albums Chart.

The video is cute and it made me like the song a bit more.

I LOVE the music video! It's so gorgeous. The back lit shots are amazing and remind me of tour
