Loreen, the first artist to release a lead single 3 years before the album release, change labels, release 6 other singles in between and change labels again to release the album

I love this album and I love Loreen, but she deserved to commercially bomb this era. To waste a HISTORIC eurovision win and wait 3 years to finally prepare an album pandering to masses when 95% lost i

well if they wanted better sales they should've worked their asses off when she had momentum...like 3.5 years ago??

There's a lot of things they could have done better but it is what it is! At least we got an album.

There are no label issues. It was likely just low sales.

True, true. But dropping out of festivals is bizarre since festivals do not rely on individual sales, this is why I wondered if something else happened behind the scenes. But at least it's not related to the label.

My theory is that they started to prepare for the tour and festivals e.g. getting remixes done, building a set, lighting rig, costume, personnel etc. but they they realised it just wasn't worth it with a tour about to flop around the corner.

Okey, so if it's low sales - what's going to change in a few months? There has to be something done actively to make people interested in tour. A few months of silence or remix here and there will not spark public interest in tour. There needs to be at least acouple of new singles with a hit potential and a HUGE promotional campaign, songs on european radios and performances to gain back the attention from the public.

She needs to copy Ariana and put out a new album while touring for the Wildfire. I love Wildfire but I think this should be left as a transitional era and move on to the next one.

Spring is like 8 months away, there's plenty of time. I'm sure they have things planned and it wouldn't surprise me if the venues are downgraded

Forgot to add that I do agree about moving on. Wildfire is cute but, I know she's capable of so much more. I'd prefer they just move on to the next thing honestly. Release the fourth album with her UMG sessions from 2019-2022 and anything more recent that is better. God knows what they have planned.

The Set Me Free remix is... a song.
