Olivia's entire aesthetic is more pedestrian because she's literally the singer songwriter girl from next door, like. That's simply who she is, and who knows what we will get out of her new era.

Sabrina is a louder personality, but perhaps that's just more your vibe.

Looking at consumption, plenty of people prefer Olivia.

Sabrina is predicable and boring if you ask me, of course her follow up to SNS sounded exactly like SNS.

She's going to have to switch it up at some point, and there in lies her weakness.

Yall seem to really take these "singer songwriter" labels at face value and never seem to view them as marketing. Just because you write songs doesn't mean you can't be exceptional in other areas, just look at Mariah Carey or Cupcakke.

I never said the singer songwriter moniker isn't marketing, to a degree.

Also never said you can only be a good songwriter, and not also a good vocalist or whatever. In fact I never even implied them.

Idk Olivia's whole thing of being Alanis Morissette with training wheels just doesn't work for me.
