I ******* hate you for the last sentence but yes the whole project is solid, I sense a positions type situation where the reception was mediocre when it dropped then praised to high heavens a few years later.

Bass Persuades will end up a minor hit for her at least in the States, I can see it crossing 100M in streams which isn't nothing but certainly short of a star of her caliber.

Like you said, new music in general good or bad is flopping nowadays so.

But REDLIGHTS deserves a whole campaign truly, a career highlight for her.

If Miley decides to do even a small residency at the Hollywood Bowl and Atlantic gets any % of it she's safe.

At this point though she should just sell her catalogue and go independent. She'll make 10x the money up front as she will from royalties over the next 10-15 years.

That money frees her up to do whatever creatively while also providing funds for good promotion.
