Peace won't come through Isra*ell. Spare me your moral compass when you talk about terrorists 24/7.

Thank you, captain obvious! Peace will also come when countries in the Middle East stop killing each other over religious differences and the persecution or death of minority groups.

You don't get to lecture anyone when you went in another post and put Palestine as a country in quotes.

Learn your history and then come back, preferably with less Arab hate.

And you don't get to lecture people about their struggle or the trauma of what they and their families had to escape. You're literally coming across as someone like Michael Jackson and his deluded fanbase who constantly dismisses survivors of child abuse and rape, all while refusing to believe them. Acting morally superior while being misinformed and misguided only makes your argument weaker. I have Arab blood in me and know my history very well, thank you for your fake concern — but unlike you, I'm not blind to the wrongdoings within my own region, as well as how religious extremism on any side can lead to destruction.

You are so disturbed and delusional and as an 'Arab' you made horribly inaccurate generalizations regarding Palestinian Arabs, that on top of personal attacks.

The blatant zionism, anti-Palestinian sentiment and propaganda in here. pukey

You are truly a bigot. The first thing you associate with Palestine is gang rape and violence, which is inaccurate because it reduces an entire people to racist stereotypes based on your isolated accusations and Israeli-political propaganda. It's also incredibly insensitive to mock Palestinians by putting "country" in quotation marks while they are living through occupation, displacement, and the stripping of their rights. Do you think that's funny? Kids getting blown up and sleeping in tents.

Even if that other person is Pro-MJ (which I don't condone), your blatant zionism does not make you look any better whatsoever

All of that to say nothing.

The region is being ravaged by the Zionist entity of Israel more than any religion.

And screaming at the MJ correlation when I was saying the same things with you in that thread.

Didn't you spend, idk, like 50 pages, plus two side threads, arguing about how there's not enough concrete evidence that Michael Jackson wasn't guilty?

ANYWAY

I'm not generalizing. It was just rather ironic that you seem to defend pedophilia and gang rape, all while dismissing other people's struggles despite literal facts being presented to you.

'You are defending pedophilia and gang rape!' rip

Can this user seriously be permabanned? The most vile user I have ever encountered on here. Just absolutely sick and deranged he says stuff like this casually to me.

This response alone makes it clear you know absolutely nothing about the Middle East or how minorities, including women, are treated there.

There is a Middle East beyond Israel—one where, in several countries, political protestors and human rights activists are currently being executed, tortured, imprisoned, and hanged. One where women are facing acid attacks for refusing to comply with their husbands. One where gays get a prison sentence. One where child marriage is legal. One where singing and dancing is literally banned and gets you a prison sentence. One where even walking a dog in public can result in the animal being euthanized or killed.

For the love of God, please take the time to educate yourself. Read or literally talk to families from the Middle East and what they had to flee.

All of what you said is more or less factual. And has nothing to do with what I said. Is Israel good for the region? I'm asking a simple question.

He's severely misrepresenting the region. There are social issues in the Middle East but he's painting a picture that is not in sync with how stuff actually is. There are laws and social issues etc. to improve but he's saying some blatantly false things.

The Middle East/West Asia is far too complex of a region to reduce its realities to a simple yes-or-no answer. If you're not willing to respectfully engage with that level of nuance, then I don't see much point in continuing this conversation or presenting my perspective, since you seem fixed on a single interpretation.

Do people deserve to die? Absolutely not.

Does every country in the Middle East deserve its peace and respect? Yes.

Does my heart go out to every innocent family member and child affected on both sides? Absolutely. I'd be inhuman if it didn't. No matter where they are from or which side they're on, civilians—especially children—are not responsible for the conflicts around them, and they deserve safety, dignity, and protection above all else.

Look, as much as you or I may dislike Israel or strongly disagree with its policies, the reality is that it's not going to simply disappear. That isn't a matter of opinion—it's a fact grounded in its current political and geopolitical reality. Again, whether we like it or not. It currently exists as a sovereign state with established institutions, a decent-sized population, and international relationships, and any meaningful discussion has to start from that baseline, not from assumptions that ignore it.

Please elaborate then on what I've said that's "blatantly false". You haven't done that once or offered a proper rebuttal—even in that Michael Jackson thread where you kept defending him because there wasn't enough evidence, according to you. Please, elaborate. Educate us. Since you seem to know better than everyone else. celestial2

And while this is another grounded take on which we can debate, you have repeatedly chosen to use dogwhistles like "terrorists" and Palestine in quotation marks, among many others.

This is why even your factual takes cannot be taken in good faith.

You are trying to backtrack and save face now. Own up to your bigotry. Your remarks were all it took to know what your motivation and agenda was.

It's a difficult conversation to have when you know that personal friends, family members and loved ones have been executed, imprisoned, and/or killed in cold blood by a, quote, "movement" or "ideology" that uses religion as a weapon. That is a fact. That's a trauma I carry, and I don't expect many people here to fully understand it. A significant part of the Middle Eastern struggle we see today is rooted in intolerance. Forget about Isr*el, I don't give two shits about them. This is a literal region that is home to tens of dozens of distinct ethnic and religious minority groups, each of which are or have faced varying degrees of tension and discrimination that mainstream media doesn't talk about.

Now, those who defend pedophilia often also show support for movements associated with terrorism, as well as child marriage which is why many of us left. I've given that Björk stan multiple opportunities to come clean and clarify his position or respond back accordingly, yet he dismisses the point and doesn't address the concern. And it's clearly not just me—multiple people seem to have issues with how he presents his "facts".

But ok. Ask yourself this: if an ideology or belief system wanted you dead, would you still stand with it?

What ideology and belief system wants me dead? Do all Palestinians and Arabs follow that? You speak about nuance - and I respect it - but reduce it to two words when it's for the other side.
