I hate the low class accents they have there. They don't pronounce their Ts Water : wha-ah Better : beh- eh drives me insane. the posh accent they speak with on The Crown is cute tho.

A statement laced with irony if you pause to think.

Im from the US so I don't care about class but I know in England because of their class system, your accent is how they can tell what class group you belong to. We don't really have that here in America. People here pretty much speak the same. The accents just change by regions (south, north etc)

These days less so. It's more that you can identify where people grew up by their accent, which can noticeably change about every 25 miles or so depending on the part of the country, and if you know what you're listening to.

XXX-y X(-s) is kinda iconic when you think about. Like yes I would love me some Wetty Spoons

I have a friend who unironically says "oh my days" all the time and it ******* drives me up the wall rip

Now, sis are you American?

Most of the world speaks British's English. They originated the language.

That's not true. Most learn American English because of America's dominance with pop culture/music/movies etc

You would be correct, he was a 12 year old sociopathic little twât trapped in a 21 year olds body

ONOPKA

Not abbreviations but a few of my favourite slang words as someone from the North:

Buttie - sandwich

Arlarse - unfair/mean

Nowt - nothing

Mingin' - gross
