Yeah I know cue the she never started jokes. But it feels like everything she does, Addison and Charli do better. Her album was supposed to come out in November but it's crickets. None of the 3 songs she released made a dent, not even for her niche alt-pop standards.

It seems everyone stopped caring about her. Or is it just me?

Unholy's bigger and better than anything Addison and Charli have ever put out.

She kinda ruined all her momentum with that terrible Feed the Beast album and those trashy Sl*t Pop mixtapes.

She was never going to be some big or even moderately big pop star. She's a trans girl, you can't compare her to those other 2 girls. She will always have a niche fanbase in the gay community and I think she's realized that and it's who she's catering to since Feed The Beast.

No, I don't think she is. I don't think Kim was ever gonna be like a huge mainstream popstar. The music she's making now is better than her last two records, though.

I felt like they tried to niche her into the over the top sexual dance pop a la Ayesha Erotica, but tbh it doesn't have a lot of long term mainstream appeal.

Is she over right now? Yea.

But it doesn't mean she can't bounce back. Charli hustled for a decade before her solo commercial break out. Sabrina too. Who's to say it can't happen for Kim? She got a #1 hit, solid fanbase, and a Grammy. The groundwork is there, she just needs the right song, right timing, and better management.

she ruined the momentum after Unholy. this new album - if it exists and releases eventually - might bring some niche audience back.

She kind of lived off being popular with the gays but I think the Dr Luke association always held her back. A lot of the people who would stan her were put off by it and she took a long time to cut ties. Now she's done that she doesn't have a major label pushing her and already lost a lot of potential fans.

Also she has some good songs but her albums aren't strong. Turn Off The Light is probably still her best project and that's just a Halloween mix tape.

Well obviously, but I think what they mean is that **** Pop has more streams than FTB if you take Unholy's numbers away. And **** Pop's daily streams are more than double FTB's, again without unholy though. **** Pop did 114,472 yesterday and FTB did 53,600 yesterday without Unholy. Not that she's bringing in huge numbers anyway but I guess her regular listeners are returning to **** Pop more than anything else.

She was always niche, and she kept pissing off most of her audience with her Luke association, constant delays and decline in quality since TOTL. Unless she finds a reinvention that works for her, she is.

She is over I'm not sure why she is still trying. She doesn't even have niche fanbase like Addison or Charli….

Her career has been going for 7 years now so it is unlikely she will reach new heights at this point. The moment has passed.
