Except there's no way for us to know, and some of these songs like SOAW are Mayhem demos reworked so they have been done for a while. Her and Doechii have been interacting since SB last year too. One of Runway's producers is D'Mile who also worked on DWAS. Highly doubt she'd finish soundtrack songs while on road when she's visibly creatively reenergized and would rather spend that energy and inspiration on a new album instead.

During the Zane Lowe interview she was asked directly if she would release the material she's been working on in 2026. She said maybe. It's not this, since the release has been set in stone for a while. LG8 is being worked on for 6 months at least.

I want you to get it in your heads early. Promo will NOT be the excuse this time because it's totally unrealistic. This movie is one of the biggest launches of the year, the target audience WILL be exposed to these songs and it'll gross like 800 million dollars.

The ONLY reason these songs won't smash is they are TOO GAY. Fun for a high energy sequence in a comedy movie but straight people won't be singing "You were born for the runway" while driving their cars or doing their housework. Which is FINE but if I dare see familiar faces in here in the inevitable chart bomb thread saying it just needs a live performance or lyric video on YouTube to go #1 I'm gonna scream. I remember someone saying HBDUWM would chart in the top 10 if she posted it on instagram saying it's a new single. Girl, wake up, 15 years have gone by.

SOAM is just not good enough to be a hit and everybody knows that. Hopefully they push another song.

Yes but if the Madonna rumour is true which I assume it is, she was only recently reported to have worked with Cirkut and Watt, so I think its a mix of both. If we're getting 5+ tracks I'm sure this is what she meant by new music coming this year

I don't know there's something lazier about for example the bridge to TDD where she's literally saying do the dead dance 10x and Shape of A Woman has that same thing, though I assume there will be other lyrics in the chorus and maybe that will just be a post chorus which I'm fine with. Sia is one of my least favourite artists because while I'm sure she could write a song about anything, I don't necessarily think that means she should. There's a lot of repetition in her style of writing, it's predictable and it makes the words lose any meaning and I don't want that happening to Gaga. So I don't want to see TDD replicated in anyway shape of form, when Gaga does generic such as Hold My Hand, TDD, Stupid Love the thing that makes Gaga unique and special is lost and it just adds absolutely nothing to her discography so there's no point in its existence

Soundtracks very rarely do well, so yeah I'm not expecting anything chart wise but us having a ton of new Pop-Ga songs is super exciting. I loved what Charli did with Wuthering Heights for example

If the LG8 lead comes this year I hope it's released the first week of October at the latest. Releasing Disease right before the Christmas freeze kicked into gear didn't do it any favors commercially.

Team Runway and the Chappell collab if it exists. I'm sure SOAW will be better in full + the film but the Runway snippet spoke to me more. Also Chappell is one of my favorite newcomers so I'm curious to see what her and Gaga cook up together.
