Gaga lives that quote very well. Even in her dark times she references, you'd really never know if you only knew her public persona and image. She keeps it channeled through her art (ie. Dope performance during manager split) and manages things privately. When things don't go well, like JFAD, she always takes the high road and never gets into the mud.

*Perez Hilton is an exception to this rule as he doesn't count as a normal human to deal with.

I think I'm illiterate because I read Liza's comments about Gaga as shade.

Also Gaga having 7 singles on the IFPI global charts is insane, she's truly the biggest female hit maker of this century. Like, Rihanna has more hits overall, but Gaga's gargantuan smashes are just the biggest among the pop girls.

There's no reason for her to be mad at Gaga. The producers were the ones who put her in a wheelchair, not Gaga. She even said she was a fan. Also, Liza is an old-school legend and diva in the entertainment industry, they tend to behave like this, extremely sensitive.

"to PLAY the kindhearted hero" implies that gaga actually is not that person. i'd believe it tbh but the music slaps so idc

Honestly I think Gaga wholeheartedly believes she got a masters degree in treating the elderly and she approached Liza in her sweet but patronizing tone like "Liza, I won't go there with you unless you sit in the wheelchair! You need to think about your own safety and you wouldn't want to trip on stage" as if Liza was her damn grandma or smth

I'm so confused about this. It's shady at start and then nice at the end. Like that's so strange.

The line about gaga sounds like she's concerned about Liza's health, so she's trying to say "Liza I will not go on the stage if you do not sit in the wheelchair", right? We need clarification.

Oh… well, maybe Gaga was just scared? Imagine if Liza had fallen and something happened live at the Oscars, that would've been genuinely tragic.

Liza attended the Monster Ball. I don't think she has any resentment toward Gaga herself and more so how the producers made her look.
