Honestly, were the collab / sequel to actually happen, I think we should just do like ATRL always does and suck it up, be fickle laugh

Casual fans would just be excited for it and so should we tbh

Leave the Stan wars be when it doesn't suit us lol

I think part 2 will be on Beyoncé's act 3bird

Megaphone on Act III and Speakerphone on LG8

We don't need Telephone PT 3. We are already comfortable streaming Beyoncé most daily streamed song and Gaga's 11th most streamed song currently.

Idk why everyone just forgets that Gaga was saying "ask Beyonce" about Telephone 2 and then when she was promoting Mayhem she changed her tune and said multiple times that it was happening and then heavily hinted that Beyonce was involved. Now Beyonce is hinting, it's pretty obvious that it is in fact happening and they had agreed to do it sometime before the Mayhem promotional campaign. I know Gaga has made empty promises before but this is pretty obvious planned promo for the collab that's probably going to be on act 3.

It's not something we are making up, Gaga couldn't stop babbling about Telephone part. 2 while promoting MAYHEM and kept saying she would do it if Bey answered the call rip

We can fight with the beyhives all we want but a GagaxBey collab would still be something culturally monumental, sadly (as I said) Telephone is just too big to top. In 2026 you simply can't do it.

I gunna wait til the song is released to reserve actual judgement on that, but **** the woman. She couldn't have picked up the phone albums ago? Waiting until she needs the collab to distract is just nasty work. It feels gross.

IF Its real and we're not all assuming. Maybe she was just in a 50s hotel and thought the phone was cool or something. rip

If Telephone Part 2 happens, it needs to be to scale of Part 1. I got dragged and downvoted for this already, but I said it once and I'll say it again - even though Disease and Abra videos are improvements from Joanne and Chromatica (sans 911), they are still nowhere near her best work visually like yall claim. Telephone, Paparazzi, GUY, Marry the Night etc were all productions. Yes you can make a great video in just a single room, but that's not what Telephone Part 2 calls for. I need a multi day shoot, 4-5 sets, 8-9 costume changes, the works. She and Bey need to block calendar for at least 3 days and give us a visual fiasco straight out 2010 or don't bother.

Videos like that don't give great ROI these days and Miss Gar might need to reach into her own pockets to self-fund the majority of it. Sadly as great as the Mayhem era has been I can't see her doing that. But we shall see. Do it right or don't do it at all giraffe

Theoretically, they both are billionaires now. It better be the most expensive mv of all time, or they can keep it.

Stan wards aside, Telephone 2.0 could be legendary. I can't believe some of you do not want it. It would only benefit Godga. But I agree it needs to be HUGE in every aspect for it to be worth it.

Also, it could become Bey's biggest 2020s song, just like Telephone was her biggest 2010 hit.

Who dragged you? You were just stating the truth. A sequel to one of the most iconic music videos ever can't exist just for the sake of it, it would need the same level of production. Telephone wasn't a pop-culture moment because it was minimal or cheap. suburban

But as you pointed out, I don't see it happening. Abra was basically funded by Mastercard, the MBT staging was partially paid for by Coachella, and Gaga doesn't really invest her own money the way she used to (which is fair). Add to that the fact that Beyoncé hasn't done full music videos in years, and… yeah.

People in here forget that Gaga loves Beyoncé no matter what the stan wars do rip, and I think she'll always love her also because Beyoncé was already a 'veteran' when Gaga debuted, yet still featured her on her album and took part in Telephone at a time when collaborations weren't nearly as common as they became post-2011

In all honesty, I hope she goes with a great director of music videos. It's such a shame she had Spielberg only to make… TDD

You're thinking of Burton who directed TDD, though Spielberg is past his peak too. Though he's in Gaga's favorite age range (social security eligibility) so it's quite likely sistrens

My apologies to the white directors of Hollywood. You sure it wasn't Tarantino? I could've swore it was Tarantino

Tarantino still has 3 years left before he's 65 so by Gaga's standards he isn't old enough yet. But Tarantino's foot fetish is so well-documented that it him and Gaga ever work together the project is going to look like it was commissioned by CariNO skull

He has the pull to get Gaga a BA Oscar nom even if the project is JFAD-level panned so I guess I shouldn't complain too much sistrens

That fanbase has been starved for so long by their own fave they have become equal parts irate, delusional, and insecure. The amount of **** they post daily is so- rip

They can continue to pretend to not gag and act like she's above it, superiority complex has been their thing as far as memory goes. Meanwhile, Jay-Z's name keeps coming up in some new shady business everyday and they keep fabricating false narratives to distract, weaponizing decade old instances out of context to manufacture "hate trains" (lol), only for their efforts to backfire and Gar's streams to increase as Gar continues to promote her work, be her best accessible and authentic self, and feed us like rent is due.

giphy.gif

Gar's public image is the best it has ever been, can't say the same for others. I can only see it happening if Gar believes it does right amount of justice to the original since she exercises great quality control over all her collabs and this is an iconic song with a huge legacy. Regardless of whether this materializes or not, we win either way since LG8 is coming and it's going to be amazing.

I mainly got dragged for saying that Disease and Abra videos are nowhere near the level of music videos from her Paparazzi - GUY run and said that anyone who honestly thought they compared to the likes of Telephone, Bad Romance, Judas, You and I, etc were delusional, and only thought that because their minds had been muddled by the subpar videos she's been serving us since 2016 (with the exception of 911) sabrina And I stand by it. Disease and Abra are good compared to what other pop stars put out today, I'm not saying they're bad. But they do not compare to what Gaga was doing back when she really put her whole Gagussy into her MVs. I will say that the Abra choreo and that iconic Lady in Red look with the spiked hat almost make up for it being shot in just one room, but let's be real, TFMGa or BTWGa would have given us the music video of the decade if she had Abra to work with.

Also Tarantino is a very aggressive I*r*el bootlicker, we don't want the "Dancing in Tel Aviv" memes to have any more merit
