Do we know how much did win the first better? 3M? rip

I only care about how much I lost. I'm trying to call the bank and come up with something real quick.

Lady Gaga's Super Bowl halftime outfit was a masterclass in political symbolism

While Bad Bunny and his dancers wore custom Zara – democratic fashion for a populist moment – Gaga, fashion's most fluent polymath, took a different route. Her look was a potent extension of the show's political undercurrent, echoing the refrain that framed the performance: the only thing more powerful than hate is love. In a nod to the current US political climate, she chose a pleated, powder-blue flamenco-inspired dress by Dominican-American designer Raul López and his brand Luar.

The choice was deliberate, layered, and archival. First designed in 2011, the dress resurfaced fifteen years later charged with new meaning, proof that fashion, like politics, is cyclical, and that context is everything.

And Gaga, ever the meticulous storyteller, didn't stop at the dress. Styled by sisters Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo, she accessorised with a floral brooch by British milliner Piers Atkinson, set with a red Flor de Maga– the national flower of Puerto Rico. A small detail, perhaps, but one that spoke volumes.

Seeing this woman continue to wield fashion as a weapon for making unsaid but strong political statements 15 years after she changed the game forever with the meat dress. Consistency. Yeah, she really is THAT b*tch.

I've never felt more Latino than today

People say wearing weird costumes will make you like Lady Gaga but they ignored the fact that she's very smart at choosing what to wear, and all the messages behind she intended to give. She's not only a fashionista but also a performance artist.

Thread it.

Whereas she's carefuly paid homage to a culture outside of hers that is being targeted by hatred, her contemporaries have leaned into MAGA culture, either using the halftime show for their vanity lead singles or staying in close company with their MAGA friends.

Both OGHs and their billionaire shill faves can suffer.

Y'all coming up with whole setlits for a 2nd SBHT show, including a "collaborative" one with The Weeknd, Bad Bunny, Ariana, Bruno, even Bradley...

Yet not a single Telephone mention? Or the infamous "Telephone part 2" (that should be called Paparazzi part 3 btw)?

How dare you lose faith on the same day la Señorita Maria Gagita Germandez manifests herself?

And her own fans still constantly pester her for random statements or tweets. We all know where she stands on these issues, and she knows how to use her artistry and music to make it even more clear.

i am watching all the superbowl reaction youtube videos, oh they love gaga ♥

Being a little monster being as exciting as it was 2 decades ago

You never know what you gonna get with this legend

benitogodga.thumb.gif.c22324afd045d382de

A lot of the madness stems from jealousy that Gaga got that moment and not their faves and that it was so fun, respectful and praised. Truly a legend, and it really feels like she's warming up for another great year and not winding down!
