And using all of these comparisons to stars that are NOT 20 years in the game and already nearing 40. Like, what? Gaga doesn't need to keep building a catalogue of hits like Billie Eilish. Those days are long gone. Instead of giving her the freedom to experiment, some fans want her to chase trends and seek to replicate her 2010s. There are stars that have tried to do that recently and have failed miserably. It's not the right approach.

I want Gaga to go in a rock direction but she could do a rock ballad and service that to US radio lol. Maybe something a bit less adult contemporary than Shallow and DWAS but still not too abrasive. Then she could just have some bangers on the album maybe some of them could be later singles. Gaga is in her own lane, nobody else is getting hits out of songs like Abra in 2025, she doesn't have to pander to the mainstream but she could always think about the sort of stuff the GP likes from her when it comes to singles.

Personally, I want jazz. Not traditional jazz songs she does cover but her self-writing jazz songs. I think she can pull that off.
