I think that she either wants to have an element of surprise because it's something bigger/better than a regular reissue or she doesn't want to give it more attention because it'll just be B'Day with a different cover and Donk.

its so strange that she dropped a press release but still has not officially announced b'day anniversary edition on her website or pages.

every time she dropped a press release she used to always tweet or post on IG about it right after. The Gift's announcement (which was very minimal like the this current one, but at least came with a tweet announcing it), Homecoming, Everything is Love, Renaissance, Cowboy Carter.... its just so unlike her
