I think some of y'all exaggerate on the CC bashing. In my opinion, the album is just a bit too long with the interludes and a few songs that are not that great.

But overall, there are many great songs that do make it a strong album.

Did it deserve AOTY? Absolutely, in comparison to the rest of the competition.

Was Renny a better contender? Yes. It's the best album (so far) from this trilogy.

? It's not a random date tho. They released Morning Dew on July 4th because September 4th was 2 months away, they could've specify what this 20th anniversary thing includes today which is one month away.

I'm not excited about the B'Day re-release. Not in a negative way -- I truly feel nothing. It's so random.

If it's remastered or re-recorded, that'll definitely intrigue me. It's a great album and the rough-around-the-edges feel to it makes sense, but I wouldn't mind an updated version.

this is kinda where i am rn, like if we get concrete information of any kind then maybe i'll care, but for now we literally just have... an announcement and a song that was meant for a totally unrelated album?
