Is Ms. Yonká hiting something with the DONK EP? Wheres the delulu hive?

I'm not sure why the remix EP is getting so much backlash? She didn't have to do it, and those that don't like it aren't forced to stream it.

The B'Day anniversary plans have already been announced. I agree that it seems too late for a significant physical push, but a digital re-release is still possible.

because beyoncé has always re-imagined her remixes and laid new vocal lines and melodies. this is not that. there are no new vocals here except an adlib here and and background vocal there. and on top of that shes sampling like 5 different songs, the vibe is all over the place. its beneath the quality that we expect from someone who gave us SAY MY NAME (Timbaland Remix), BOOTYLICIOUS (Rockwilder Remix), Independent Women Pt II, Love In This Club Part II, CUFF IT (WETTER REMIX), all of which are re-imaginings of songs with entirely new vocals. hell, even AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM and TEXAS HOLD EM's remixes got more new vocals than this. She couldve kept it.

This is my third post about this today, but WHY would anybody put a song that is a combination of 2013 and 2022 vocals on a reissue of an album from 2006 AND do a remix with their husband's vocals from 2026

The remix is okay. I don't really enjoy it much, but it's not like it's another Blow remix with Pharrell Williams situation

I keep telling people that Beys standards are HIGH and so are the standards of her fans.

There is no way we will accept mediocrity just because she is our fave.

You don't have to like the remix, but you all are acting as if she released Chr*matica or something. The solo version still exists.

When the Jay-Z remix first came on, I was like EEWWWWW. The vibe doesn't fit with the beat. But when the beat changed to Isley Brothers, it started to click. It's not bad. The Donk Mix is cute, and the Acoustic version is the REAL star of the show.

Yeah, no harm by releasing remixes. Back in the day, people used to put out maxi singles with all kind of remixes that people forgot about.
