I don't remember the name of the one scrapped before ST but I think it was Fela Kuti-inspired Afro-pop-Caribbean in sound.

Act 1 was to be called BEYINCE based on the botched vinyl situation and I presume act ii was always Renaissance.

Grown Woman + Standing on the Sun were meant to be for an album, then she met Boots

Cowboy Carter was meant to come out first, and was called Beyincé, act ii was supposed to be renaissance

I think there was also a scrapped album before ST which was the majority of songs that came out of the writing camp in the hamptons, some of them, like parition, made the record but others (grown woman, sots, god made you beautiful, rise up) were cut or given to other projects idk
