formation doesn't hit the same live without the choreo (which she half asses at best these days) so she might as well retire it for a while

My mom passed away last week. I know I mentioned her wanting to hear a Beyonce rock album as she has anticipated it for years, and I'm so sad she didn't get to hear it before she passed (if that's wha

That i can agree with. Formation live at the FWT as the opener was a game changer tho jonny5

Girlies y'all will have to deal with Diva and Formation being performed next to each other again in the next tour.

She knows that the audience always eats it up and there are always viral videos about them

I agree with the Formation take, RWT and CCT's choreo-light version doesn't hit the same at all as choreo-heavy. Studio version is 10/10 tho.

Next tour she'll be singing from her dressing room while Blue is on stage the whole 2 hours

like it's NOT the song to be just standing there wiggling your arms, either go hard or leave it off the setlist for a while chick3

I agree on Formation, it doesn't work at 30% energy, which is what we got on the CC tour. It's interesting on the US leg of Renaissance tour B was hitting the choreography hard, back up to 70%. So I thought her knee was recovering. I wonder if she re-injured herself or maybe the Renny tour was just too soon and it set her back.

I honestly think Rennie showed her she can give 50% and people will still feel entertained, so now she takes it easier during the mid-/late-stage of her career.

Its all about preserving energy. The greats before her had to do the same - look at Tina. She also stopped hitting the choreo at one point, but readjusted so that she was still able to serve energy. And even that, according to her account, took a toll on her body.

As long as she manages to keep the quality of her voice and her technique, I don't care about her dancing 50% less.

The shows are long and she is not as young anymore, it's normal she needs to slow down. Some people need to accept this will happen. At least she sounds better than ever, you can't say this for many artists with a career this long.

I am grateful she keeps touring and releasing new, quality music. Certain other fanbases can only dream.

she should at least lip less. she's lipping way too much while also doing much less choreo. i don't mind her dancing less, not every song needs 8 counts or group hug choreo anyway (looking at you American Requiem and Just For Fun) but she should make up for the lack of dancing with more live vocals

Backing tracks helps her preserve her voice. Kinda by itself completely obliterates any retirement discourse. She wants to preserve her voice, she's here to stay.

How in the hell will she figure out the act lll tour setlist skull

We all wonder this and then she gives us the best show ever.

I hope we get another throwback section. Seeing IIWAB & Irreplaceable was so amazing! I wonder if she will give her more rock-focused songs on some shine? Green Light, DHY, TWYB, Suga Mama etc.

No one, and I mean NO ONE, past or present, rocks a small stage more than Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter, born September 4th 1981 in Houston, Texas.

God ALMIGHTY jonny5 we are SO blessed to be born during the same timeline as her.

Tea, cc tour setlist was kinda perfect

by the end of it, yes. the first night was odd...

other edits I would have made include making the Energy x Lose My Breath >BMS segment from London a permanent fixture, and prolonging the II Most Wanted segment (even a solo verse would have sufficed)

OH and I know this will be controversial but I truly think the 'stanky' version of Single Ladies with the call and response segment was made for the CCT tour, and its omission was a disappointment.

All I know is I'm That Girl, Cozy, Alien Superstar and AHAP better stay. She's gonna half-ass Heated again so it can go I guess. I'm sure Thique is getting cut atp and it will be sorely missed. An unexpected highlight on CC Tour.

I feel like American Requiem, Ya Ya, Spaghetti, S*H*B and Tyrant is what HAS to stay from CC. TH'E is probably gonna get shoved down our throats because it was too big of a hit. Flamenco and II Hands II Heaven would be cute treats. Bodyguard and 16 Carriages are possible too I guess. The rest is unneeded and hopefully leaving.

Cowboy Carter musts for Act III Tour: Texas Hold 'Em, Bodyguard, Ya Ya, Sweet Honey Buckin and Tyrant.

Beyonce dances hard when she wants to. She dance hard during the buckin dance break at the Bowl

This is highly likely the songs that will stay next tour

I'm curious to see how she's going to incorporate all Honey related songs from the Acts. It's given atp that she's going to do another track with Honey in the name for Act 3giraffe

backing tracks aren't the problem, like RWT was perfect in that aspect. tons of pure live vocals, very memorable adlibs, well blended backing etc. DIL, Diva, 1+1, Drunk In Love for example all sounded better than ever. CCT on the other hand was overkill and barely had any real standout vocal moments outside the Say Ya moments and Daughter (and even Daughter was lukewarm compared to her numerous otherworldly I Care performances etc). even OTRII had more standout moments like Resentment bloo
