Why would she let Nadia do Ren and then CC visuals if she hated the first.

Nah, Nadia does really great work, and you already know Beyonce is VERY involved in the process. Nadia is very kitschy, and Beyonce knew that, she knew what she was looking for when she included her in the project.

I expect the visuals to be very outside of the box for Beyonce, and I expect there is a HUGE budget. It'll probably even further extend her creative lead over her contemporaries, past and present.

It's not like Bey would tell Nadia, "Have fun, send it to me when it's done!" I'm sure Bey is the co-director and is getting the rough cuts. If there were a problem, she would've noticed early on and corrected it. Not to mention they must have had weeks if not months of pre-production meetings to work out details such as storyboards and what sort of cameras to use.

It's also possible this is a Khalil Joseph situation. Maybe Nadia and Bey are the directors, but she's brought in other people like Melina to direct videos for certain songs.

She's also not going to do a 10 year anniversary of Lemonade or 20 year anniversary of Bday… she's about to launch a brand new era.

Given how little she gives watch the Met gala not even be a part of that and it just ends up being a Cecred/Sir Davis collab not anything aligned with the new album and we get Act III next year.

Because CC was meant to be first and they filmed part of it first

But a lot of CCT visuals looks current so reshoots done by Melina (who was added as a director for CCT)

you mean like her shooting footage months after BMS' release? Or going from teasing the visuals with a trailer to dead silence and suddenly she wants us to just focus on the music?

Something STINKS here, and now I'm thinking it was Nadia's visuals and Beyoncé saved us from a potential disaster

Beyoncé scrapped an entire album and made self-titled, she will throw away a project if she isn't happy with it. I am willing to bet she was willing to step out of her comfort zone but when she saw the final product it was a wrap, used what she could as interludes, and did interviews saying "visuals can be distracting!" Beyoncé probably trusted Andrew since he probably recommended her and that's why he's in the unemployment line now

true, maybe she's just credited for some of the Ren footage that was reused? idk i feel like nadia either got the boot or quietly retreated… wouldn't blame her. imagine having your work trapped behind a decade long NDA just because your boss randomly decided it's a distraction

Does that sound like something someone would say after posting a TRAILER for the visuals? She didn't want the bad visuals nadia shot to be the focus on a project she spent 4 years perfecting. The rumors of her screening the visuals for amazon/disney/netflix and them saying no probably sealed the deal for her, the person who posted that info also alluded that Beyoncé herself didn't seem fully happy with them either. Not saying it was true, but there's a lot of smoke.. and where there's smoke there's a dumpster fire called Nadia
