CIL, Irreplaceable and DIL all gained around 2M RIAA units from July 2022 to December 2024 (last update), so a diamond plaque at least for Crazy in Love this summer sounds achievable. A certification update is still a great marketing tool, and certainly one that her team likes to use before big events/releases.

Seems like the Met Gala may be a time that she ramps things up, maybe we can expect something around then.

This is what I'm envisioning as the Act III sound

she's not gonna be MIA until the met gala and she isn't gonna release anything that day either. the met isn't half as relevant these days as it once was and it's not a superbowl type of event either (aka something millions of people watch simultaneously and that is known for launching trailers and teasers for new media). plus she's not gonna wait till may 4th if she has an album coming out on the 29th

if she follows her pattern she'll release new music early to mid april, with more in your face teasings (like the cowboy outfit at the 2024 grammys) around february/march

I have no idea what Bey will do this era. I just need her to go all out because I know she is taking a break after act 3. Bey need to be in her popstar type era just one last time especially if this album is Rock inspired. I know for sure the GP will love the rock and funk sound from her if that is what she is going for act 3.

She's not overshadowing the Met Gala with her music if she's part of it. It'll be announced/released before.

the met gala isn't promo for her album, she will keep everything hush hush to keep us all engaged into what she will do, then she will promote Julez new clothing line and we will have another fight in basé

There are a million possibilities, but I think the album is coming late May. Maybe she'll drop the film with act iii and not do lead singles at all, and will show up at The Met in a clearly act iii inspired look to tease it.

Or maybe the lead(s) will drop Friday, May 1st, and the Met appearance is designed to drum up attention toward her, and hence the music

I don't think she underrates herself. I think she's just very secure in her legacy and commercial achievements. She's not hyper obsessed with her numbers like certain other girlies. She's already very comfortably in the top 10 best selling female artists of all time, as reported by Guinness World Records.

Hmmm, I think on this issue, I lean more so towards the video of updating with a big project coming is pretty useless. I wholeheartedly understand her and Columbia/Sony not continuing to update the certs, and many artist aren't anymore, they're solely keeping up with the numbers.

The only reason I could see someone updating their certs, especially in her case, would be to have bragging rights for promo write ups! With her having an ongoing trilogy, it could play into the public's perception by continually pushing she's done so & so millions with the leading installments. Other than that, no one's keeping up with the certs besides desperate & dried up new pop girlies.

Just re-watched her Christmas Special one last time before it leaves Netflix on my Apple Vision Pro. She looked and sounded so good, her beauty prime

I can't wait to see the live visuals for Act III because they get better every era (sorta kinda, RWT still ate CCT up a little)
