I just want everyone to identify that she's using the Great Beyhyrdation of 2013 Playbook for the visuals.

Do everything ... but what people are expecting and waiting of you.

In 2013, it was perform at the Super Bowl, release a documentary, go on Oprah, be on magazine covers, make two HUGE commercials, go on a world tour, be featured on singles, film music videos... ANYTHING but release an album.

in 2026 (and the years up to it), it was ... release an album, put out a teaser, drop some remixes, go on tour, release a concert film in theatres, put out another album, drop a remix, go on tour... anything BUT release the visuals.

I personally don't think they're scrapped. Whatever reason they are delayed is one thing and it doesn't really matter, just like the reason her fifth studio album was delayed doesn't matter. It'll come when its ready.

I mean of course a bunch of extra/stand-in folk wouldn't know about a Beyoncé film. This is the same woman who had folks add choir vocals to CC and damn near didn't even know what it was for, or when it was gonna be released.

Beyonce can be very unpredictable. We never know with her. I definitely see her dropping visuals out of nowhere after act 3. A lot of People are off the Visuals train so it's perfect for her troll a release after years of people waiting for it

I went to the Demi Lovato concert last night and why did certain parts remind me of RWT?

She had a "dance break" section for her dancers and of course their was voguing AND the kind of machinery/scaffolding/BTS aesthetic she had going on kind of reminded me of it as well.

RENAISSANCE really is a masterpiece.

She has such a knack for absorbing a style, doing it her way, doing it in a way that honours the source AND making it feel current.

I think one of the more amazing feats of the record is the way she took on that 1980s-style of rapping which today can sound incredibly corny and Dr. Seussian, but still pull it off in songs like CUFF IT or HEATED.

While others' forays can feel a bit caricatured, unseasoned, or just not as good as what it's trying to reference.

The age limit came in 2018. No minors since then.

Even CUFF IT, which imo is the most basic and generic song on RENAISSANCE and maybe the most grabby for a hit considered it was probably made around the time of the early 2020's disco-pop wave has its own uniqueness and authenticity that doesn't make it sound like yet another kitschy post Say So track...
