not y'all debating if the rock community will accept her or not, when nothing is even coming at this point

She announced the new era for Act 2 with the singles on Feb 12 (so 6/7 weeks before album release, like Act 1) so that we know nothing this far in makes me suspicious. I honestly don't think its coming at this point and I was supporting the 29/05 release date for YEARS at this point.

I don't think she would miss the hype building and the pre-orders, except for if they had to rush things maybe and just weren't ready in time.

The MET is our last chance to see if the era will start or not.

I find it odd that the cover for the May issue of Vogue came on April 7th since they've just reduced the amount of issues (from 10 to 8), they usually come out mid-month, and the cover for the April issue came out on March 18th which is less than three weeks before that. Maybe... Bey is covering the Summer issue and it comes out after the Met Gala and they just had to adapt to Bey's timing?

Taylor is not a surprise but according to a certain fanbase i thought the Runway singer would be mentioned first always....

She has stopped doing traditional media appearances since 4 but the one thing she's never shown a sign of stopping is magazine covers. She'll be on the cover of Vogue by the end of the year.

duh, that's like saying before the end of the year she'll be photographed by paparazzi

but it gives us no real time frame, she could be on a magazine cover tomorrow, next week, or in 6 months. she could do a MET spread and let it be released in october cause that's how she is

With Renaissance, she launched the single off the hype of her comeback. CC with the Super Bowl. If she doesn't use the Met to launch the next era, what will she use? I'm increasingly apprehensive it's not happening, but there was no other reason for her to do the Met. I don't buy what so many Hive are peddling, "She loves fashion!" If she loved going for the sake of going, she would've gone once in the last ten years.

I live on the west coast in North America now so this will be the first year I get to actually be awake when B is attending a Met Gala

Exactly. The grand return to the MET after a decade of not attending as the co-chair? Now cmon, thats a big event. Bey is going to probably book 15min to herself to deliver a sickening showcase that gets the people talking.

Was the Stevie Nicks interview about the sample always there on the Survivor anniversary post on her website?

For me, act III starts at the Met Gala just like CC did at the Super Bowl.

scratch that, i'm back on the nothing is happening train. she'll arrive late, will wear something questionable, avoid the reporters like the plague and then go home.

she'll post her pics about a week later and all we'll get is her being dragged for being a hunger games-esque dystopian supervillain who attends lavish galas while people are dying and suffering
