Maybe he heard that there's a Jay Z collab on the album and understood that it is a collab album. The same goes for act ii being acoustic. He just heard something and reported it, but it's not the whole truth. He never heard any of it himself

I don't know if it was intentional, but the use of the word "alligator" immediately reminded me of "albino alligators" which itself was wordplay to denote a statement about race in America, so I took it as such.

This is something that would NEVER happen but I would love EP's of songs from each era that just didnt fit.

Future projects I'd like to hear from her:

Mixtapes:

• 5-7 audio tracks album, so only a lead vocal, bass, piano, drum, one synth, BVs etc - the challenge would be to take otherwise complex songs with thousands of layers back to their absolute core - this would sort of sound like a 'band' album

• 'Vault' tracks from different eras - or cuts from albums that never got put out

• Vocal experimenting album - autotune, vocal effects, pitching - super hard

• Collaborations album - invite guests to create songs for her and she cedes creative control over those tracks to them

Albums:

• Symphonic - entire album is one huge piece of music with different movements, irregular structure and multigenre

• Low-fi - understated, stripped back, pulsing drums

• A wall to wall soul and funk album - written with a core set of writers maybe 5-10 people who write the album back to front together

None of the songs on Ren was boring. The most tame song was plastic on the sofa. Cuff it was the most GP friendly song on there but it still a catchy ass song.
