Nonetheless, Atlantic has done what RCA failed on in every way. Love to see her getting a legitimate push with real strategic support, marketing, happy hour edition, discounts, etc.

I'm still not over Come Clean (mine). These songs really needed her adult vocals, which is so much more rich and trained but still has her unique tone

I'm not sure how The Optimist would do as a single, but damn as many people as possible need to hear that song. Such a beautiful, vulnerable song that a lot of people wouldn't expect from Hilary Duff. I would love at least a video treatment for The Optimist. Hilary alone walking around a cabin or even a ranch similar to the family ranch in San Antonio that her father owns where she and Haylie grew up

This album deserves Grammys it's that good

Adult Size Medium is an instant classic imo. Dare I say top 3 in her entire discography... I can't wait to see her perform it (she basically confirmed it will be on the setlist today)

I can't rank the songs on this record, I just keep changing mind and Dignity is still waiting for me LOL,

The appearance on Call Her Daddy was cool, but they barely spoke about the album so it didn't so really helped

While I do appreciate how it helps the album cover/aesthetic come alive, I'm kind of mourning a Weather for Tennis music video where she's looking cvnt in a tennis outfit hitting some light choreo with the gworls on a summery day while letting Matthew absolutely HAVE it 🎾

dropping in to say i am absolutely gobsmacked at how incredible this album is, i've had it on repeat the whole week

top 5 in no order yet would be future tripping / honeymoon / holiday party / mature / adult size medium

Taste I just love how easy of a listen it is, it's groovy, dreamy, deep and reflective and so different from her other records.

The call me daddy was the best interview Hilary has ever done

she asked everything I was always wanted to know about Hilary

I didn't it was Hilary who asked Aaron to be guest star I thought that Disney

although Hilary has never had a public breakdown she takes break from her career when life becomes too much rather than act out in public

Hilary was not in a good place with breathe in breathe out dropped her divorce having a young baby plus it didn't help that rca made her change everything I can see why she tuned out

I think a similar thing happened with dignity where she had the breakup with Joel and her parents divorce then problems with Hollywood records

I felt like I learned even though I been a fan since 2002 these are questions I've been wanting interviews to ask Hilary

It seems like no matter the label there always seems to be some aspect missing when it comes to Hilary's single releases. In her first era HWR either wouldn't release physical singles or they would release them much later. iirc Come Clean didn't get a physical single release in the US, right? Yet it was her first and only top 10 on radio. So Yesterday did have a physical single release and went #1 on the single sales chart. Imagine if Come Clean had a physical single release like So Yesterday. It would've at least gone top 20 I think.

With RCA, there was so much hype surrounding CTS and the video got like 3 million views in the first 24 hours, but it was a terrible first single choice after being gone for so long. The obvious first single choice was AAY but CTS killed the hype. And then AAY actually got some radio play but not as many YouTube views out the gate like CTS got.

Which brings us to today, Roommates is climbing on radio, but hasn't gotten any Spotify playlisting. The YouTube views for the Roommates video have stalled even though it is the best video of the era so far and now the lackluster music video for WFT is surpassing it like it is nothing.

The album rollout has been great so far and Atlantic has been the one label that really seems to get Hilary, her fanbase, and what she brings to the table. With that being said, I'm really hoping they step it up when it comes to the singles. Now that they see how well the album is doing, we need them to continue sending the singles to radio + playlisting + bigger music video budgets please.

Despite her selling neary 20,000,000 albums, Hilary has kinda always been the most mismanaged out of the big popstars in her peer group. The fact shes so successful musically is amazing tbh
