Should raffles at weddings be a new thing?
i'm a wedding coordinator in the northeast US and have not seen any of my couples do raffles at their actual wedding (and im praying it does not become a trend now cause i don't want to be dealing with that) it is pretty common for some pre-wedding events tho like showers or jack & jills.

Billboard reveals Taylor Swift's 50 biggest Hot 100 hits
i would not have guessed all too well being the smallest hit of her number ones, that feels unjust. i guess the length played a factor there.

Carly Rae Jepsen - 'Day and Night'
so in the end there's no ruby? was that just an alternate title for after all?

Carly Rae Jepsen - "Take a Picture" (Appreciation Thread)
love this song, its on all my summer playlists. too bad she hadn't started the side b yet for kiss, it could've opened with this and ended with picture and that would've been perfection.

Maisie Peters - 'Florescence'
i've accepted that nothing will ever be the good witch, and this doesn't even come close, but there is more here to enjoy than the singles led me to believe. audrey hepburn is one of the worst of the entire album and i still can't believe they her lead with that. questions and girl's just flying are cute bops, and houses and flat earther have some of her best writing. i think this will be a grower but i do wish she hadn't leaned into this acoustic / light country sound.

Rostam - 'American Stories'
perched for this! i've had back of a truck on repeat, it gives those same gay romance vibes i loved so much from 4runner and bike dream.
-
MUNA - 'Dancing On The Wall'
as a day one fan, i'm mixed on this. will always love their pop bangers, and i think people who came on board because of silk chiffon will get a lot of mileage out of this. but for OG fans this is missing that excellent emotional catharsis that used to be a staple of their music. if we had one around u or taken or home by now here it would make a huge difference.

Kacey Musgraves - 'Middle of Nowhere'
i tried so hard to get into deeper well, even went to the tour, but that album never stuck with me for some reason. this one already feels more promising. i'm a day one miranda stan and knew of their lore from way back so i'm living for the duet. other early favs are i believe in ghosts, coyote, rhinestones, and hell on me. my one gripe is people praising loneliest girl, they clearly didn't hear laci kaye booth do that concept a hundred times better a few years ago.

Jensen McRae - "One More Cowboy"
last album was a smash but these new songs a little too acoustic for my liking. her voice is incredible tho.
