  • Going to that region at the same time as Katy is just not smart.

  • LATAMs urban music is reggaeton, they don't care about american rappers. I was actually shook that they decided to book him to come on his own, cause rappers only come here as part of festivals.

the situation in mexico aint that bad

the shows are like 85% sold it wil probably reach over 90% on the shows day

The situation isn't that bad, the entire section being blue doesn't mean there's no seats sold in that section so it's a bit misleading.

The Mexico City is doing fine he probably already sold 45k

Thats true Rap artist are never a big thing in Latin America, I can't think of any huge rap artist in Latin America besides Eminem (and he never tours Latin America)

Yes maybe with Sza could had done a little better.

It was to ambicious to book him at stadiums, he could easily do Arenas in Latin America

I don't think Kendrick reached the LatAm public the way some other rappers have done

The tickets are very expensive. :psyduck:

Waiting for that discount.

seated sections don't look good at all

the concert is tomorrow

idk why american rappers are always singing about being global superstars when most of them are local to the US

There's no demand in LATAM for US artists that are local. This is worse for rappers since the genre is usually focused on local conflicts, and LATAM does not care about US daily stuff

But I was told that any artist could do stadiums tour in LATAM.

He went with SZA

he's gonna be fine, it's a pure US hip hop (no SZA mind you... i wonder why she dipped for LATAM and AUS legs :deadbanana2:) set in LATAM

I think they overestimated his demand here, they should've booked smaller venues.

I don't think SZA is big in Europe either.

I don't think black rap is any big in LatAm? It will still be 90% sold by the time he gets there...

I did go for SZA too, sadly almost nobody knew her songs here, 90% of people went for him
