And even if it is his house, it's still courteous to ask your friends if your partner can join their plans. His reasons are valid and he communicated properly why he "doesn't want" you there. I don't get why your feelings are hurt or why you're even confused because he was literally willing to ask them if you could join when you brought up

that you were hurt and it would be an inconvenience for you to drive all the way there and back but you said no?

He is either cheating or he's starting to not have feelings for you, i suggest asking him if they actually love you and if they've cheated on you before. If they say no — they are probably lying. But again I'm also an overthinker so..

Well yeah but that could also be him not loving them as much, or that the OP is nuisance or a burden to everyone. Or also that the guy is cheating on the OP with all of his friends
