Mayhem isn't as great as an album as it was hyped to be and they haven't accepted it yet. Even if it gets AOTY next year, well, the Grammys are meaningless popularity contests and she has like no strong competition, really. The Grammys love powerhouse songs like DWIS so riding on that alone it could win. I bet it still won't win though, personally.

I like Mayhem and it is my 5th most played album in the past 2 years, but my listening habits went from listening to the whole album (I did always skip HBDUWM tho) to just Abracadabra, Perfect Celebrity, Disease and Vanish Into You consistently. I do still listen to it in full from time to time, though, but its a weird one because with artists I closely follow, I tend to last a lot longer before I stop listening to it in its entirety all the time. I also consider it her best album, but even with Chromatica I remember having on repeat for much longer?
