I'm indifferent about her it's just gross to see her not have integrity for her original vision. Have a nice rest of your day miss Daphne 

 

I think the album would have aged better if she didn't reference her past work so much.

Some songs are a bit forgettable and in some years they will be annoying like those generic alternative ballads from 2010s. Die With A Smile i feel will be there. so Boring
But there's staples in the album like Zombieboy-Disease (Will be played every halloween)
i also love Shadow of a man (Very nocturnal) and Perfect Celebrity (Rock Banger for those angry days)
The songs tied to the 80s sound i think some of those will be dated once this sound is all over the charts.
example: I dont see (how bad do u want me) standing the test of time...........
but there's rare cases where 80s influenced songs can be timeless like Style By Taylor Swift
I think Mayhem will have longer shelf life to Chromatica cause too many Chromatica songs are tied to the pandemic time


I personally dont believe in the concept of dated music
I still enjoy all my old albums and see them as fresh-like theyre brand new. I dont tie my music to trends. I tie them to how how they make me feel
to this day the fame debut is still my fave album. I play songs from past albums based on my mood-theme-life situation
I feel like the house is gettin bigger and bigger with each record instead of the house falling apart and movin to a new one
i dont discard songs or albums. To me artists are like prisms and with each new era u know them better.

i think she needs to move on from the electronic sound. it feels like she's doing it because it's what her fans want and not what she wants. harlequinn felt way more genuine.

There are some great songs on it, yes. They had potential but they didn't release them. But overall, as an album, most of the songs were meh and sound like filler to me. Definitely not her best album by a long shot.

The answer is no. It's her best work since BTW and it's a masterfully engineered project.
