I'm just remembering the absolute GAG that was Choreomania - when I first listened to it I was shocked, I couldn't believe what was happening to me, and every time I listen to it I get full body shivers still. If there is just one song on this that has an inch of that feeling... Oh mother

Who the **** does it like her!!!!

I just laugh every time I see someone **** on DF.. It's such a triumph, especially lyrically - and such an important part of her discography! Imagine disliking a project that has K, F, Choreomania, DGE, Cassandra, ML, ME... Even its weakest moments (GAG, interludes) are quite lovely

 

A few fun facts:

- Back In Town is so slept on. CHILLS!

- Mermaids fits well into the album's mythology and theme(s), but I get why it was left off; I don't quite know where to put it? But where she DID put it in the Deluxe tracklist ... The **** 

- Album would have been better received if she'd indeed gone with Choreomania is the title. Perfect title tbh, whereas DF is misleading

 

OT: I can't believe we already have the title of the next chapter of Miss Welch's most holy discography! Thank you, Legend F, for feeding us so early (vs. dragging it out for weeks/months like some artists)

choreomania would be a killer album title, also the album has incredible photos and the cover was such a mid one

PREACH 

 

When it was released I threw myself a little listening party - got out on the balcony at midnight, with a blanket, a bottle of wine and a ****load of candles, and danced like an idiot while I listened, and cried. That album was incredible, and I think it's just harder for some to process it because of how rich in meaning and soundscapes it is... 

 

...which just means my hopes for this new one are way too high, but King always delivers
