It's because she didn't say it with ill intent, it's just funny that she thought she was saying that as a strong argument

She did. She literally laughs before she says it. I think she thought it would be funny then 3 words in suddenly realises it won't be, changes to a serious tone but then it's too late

The more time that passes the more shocked I am as to how she thought she was gonna gag every person in the room with such a failed line
