16 months after the release of her debut album, Dua released 'Dua Lipa: Complete Edition', including Sean Paul's song No Lie, despite of her being just a feature in there and not a lead. She ended up doing the same in 2021 by releasing Future Nostalgia: The Moonlight Edition, adding Miley's song Prisoner to the album.

 

Radical Optimism was released 14 months ago, so there's still a chance for her to release a deluxe edition adding a song where she was just a feature. Should she do it again? Would you be here for it ?

Well Radical Optimism was actually a Future Nostalgia reissue according to a lot of people so yes!

Labels inflate albums all the time in this era. So if they need to feel better and add old songs / collabs why not.

 

Just look at that Cardi B album adding 5 year old droplets. Or Kim Petras and Lady Gaga tacking their successful collabs on the back of the album.

She needs to pull another Moonlight Edition and release a deluxe with a bunch of new songs added. I am craving some new music from her and Radical Optimism is still on repeat

This would bother so many chronically online pop circles, I love it. Do it Dua!

 

 

She should have released the Deluxe before the European tour, a new song before the summer would have been a good move considering that this year's releases have been quite few compared to 2024. 

 

Songs like "Just Keep Watching" and "Manchild" doesn't feel like big hits and are charting in the global top 20, Abracadabra, Like JENNIE and Sports Car are the biggest pop hits of this year and doesn't even have 500M yet. 

If she add a song it would probably be "Dance The Night", her "Dellirium" moment like Ellie with LMLYD.

She won't go back to them, but I think DL4 will consciously be A&R'd to bring the U.S. back on board.

At this point, just let the album excist the way it is. It would have been cool had she re-issued the album with like 2 to 3 session songs inbetween the Australian and Europe leg of the RO Tour as a Tour edition but now it would be just too random.

 

I rather have her just come back in 2026 with a new era
