Tyla, girl  Not the 2 new songs...

 

I will say though, both of them are really great, so this is actually a really nice EP - all four tracks are amazing!

4 track mixtape  just call it a digital EP atp…

She did a press tour for a four song mixtape?

In Itunes it's called WWP-EP. Maybe it's only the first part of the release and there's a complete mixtape coming in the following weeks? Maybe that the reason because Chanel don't release today...

It's because the songs are not doing that well on the charts, the label is not willing to commit to putting out an entire album until she gets a hit single. 

 

She already promised fans an album this year, so I'm sure this Mixtape is her way of keeping that promise but most likely that full sophomore is shelved until there's a hit

 

Oh yes, I get old school Rihanna vibes for sure on MR. MEDIA. I still don't see any songs as good as PUSH 2 START though :(

The least she couldve done was made one of the 4 songs a 5 minute serve like Shake Ah to make up for the short length

Y'all are dramatic. It's a new day lol. The "rules" of yesterday are not the rules of today when it comes to the industry and how it does or doesn't work with keeping interest in talent. This is new music as she continues to perform at festivals etc. keeping her name out there. Not a major promoted project or anything that's going to make or break her career but just material to keep folks interested and maybe something can semi take off as they continue to work towards a sophomore project that may go in a different direction sonically. She's just feeding the folks that are interested in the Tyla brand and who knows what else is planned release wise.

maybe the full mixtape WE WANNA PARTY is coming soon with Chanel + some other songs, since this one is just abbreviated to WWP

 

exactly like how she put out that EP with the 2 singles (Water & Truth or Dare) + 2 b-sides (Butterflies & On and On) before the full album came out

Itll chart on billboard 200 for sure but itll prob be in like 90-130 range.
