Cheap things you do?

Featured Replies

What kind of things do you cheap out on or do you have a specific moment of cheapness ?

I had to get home after being out with my friends, but I missed the last bus and I am not going to pay $30+ for a 5 min ride in a taxi, so I used one of those electric shooter apps :suburban:It was $4. I also once walked home after the club, it took me around 1 hour.

Idk I've been doing it for nearly 2 years now :skull: if do get caught I would hope that they'd just let me pay for the items and ban me from the shop rather than contacting the police

You never know. I got threatened with a case document fraud after I lied about my social security number to avoid a fine, but luckily I was only 14 or 15 so they let me go :skull: I don't think they would do that to grown adult me today.

I dated a man from barbados before and he came from such a broke area that they only used water reservoirs even for sink and water. When he came to the US that trauma still haunted him because we never took a #1 and flushed the water since that would be an extra $5 in Barbados. We would even get in arguments just because I wanted to flush the toilet so i basically just left him likeee... now the trauma kinda haunts me and if i take a #1 i wont exactly flush just because i dont wanna get cussed out and it saves me a few tens of dollars on the water bill!

All of the above! I'm so cheap it's not funny. When going to the movies I go to Dollar Tree to stock up on popcorn, chips and chocolate put it in a backpack and bring it with me to the theatre.

Yes! Also when mayo or any sauce is pretty much done, I add water swish it around to get all the sauce and then pour it on my meat or whatever I'm eating. I PAID FOR THAT!

I also cut the corner of the carton on milk and put it upside down to drip into a cup, and then use it for my coffee. If my boyfriend throws it out, I pull it out of the trash and finish it! ::suburban:

Smart man. I use my condo's toilets from the party room area to avoid flushing my own in-suite water. I used to also shower at the gym :rip:

I've charged my portable speaker in the emergency staircase a few times to avoid high energy bills:ryan3:
