Two years later, her latest effort 'Tropicoqueta' is predicted to open at #3 with 54,000 units, that represents a 42% decline from her previous album.

A song called latina foreva was never going to be success with spanish speaking people.

I think she played her genres too straight instead of doing something actually creative with them, on top of the natural limitations of her vocal abilities, which don't help when doing certain types of music. The album is too long but unfocused. It's obviously not a flop, but the public doesn't care much for it either. It's just okay.

Here in my country i remember how two years ago bad bunny and karol g were everywhere. They were crazily overplayed
Now is a rarity for me to listen their music when i go out.
They both been losing so much power in the last years
Maybe is a good sign.
The new gens are tired of reggaeton and we are movin to something new or theyre maybe beggin for new urban singers here

I also been noticing how latino music been losin power and coolness in the usa
Maga america after all

Why do people hate people that become so famous. At least she's a nice sweet downtown earth humble person. We made the right person famous. And great artist too. The most famous reggaeton songs of lat 5 years are hers. Provenza, El babarco, si antes, tusa! Stop.with the hate

She hasn't had much to copy from since Rosalia just pushed back her album release again

Something i noticed in these last weeks is how most of the hate is coming from Bad Bunny and Rosalía fans.
They're just jealous of her success in the urban scene and want her down
we Shakira fans are too busy stressing over our fave's tour collapsing and malfunctioning to even care about Karol G
