Karol's touring power double Shakira's in the USA. Why?
Girl, I'm a fan but not a thoughtless stan, you're just repeating what I said. Shakira hasn't had a proper tour budget since Laundry Service and this is the first tour when she actually spent some money, yet it's still a mess. She gives minimum effort because, at the end of the day, the GP still supports her and there's demand to see her. Karol gets more money because her tour IS more expensive, she gets back what she invested. These Shakira vs. Karol threads are corny. Just endless baiting on both sides, same with the Rosalia thing. Stans are so insecure.

Karol's touring power double Shakira's in the USA. Why?
About her record-breaking Latin American tour run, even talking Mexico alone. Or the Spanish residency, for that matter. Shakira's US tour was a disorganized mess from the beginning and stayed a mess throughout—it'd be sad if Karol's concerts, which are obviously more expensive to produce and way better in terms of planning and logistics, were to get less money. You are supposed to get back what you invest, and thankfully Karol is doing that and already cemented herself as a touring act.

Bad Bunny: what's next?
Breaking up with Kendall helped, a good chunk of his fans (at least the ones who like him for his politics) were very turned off by that and by the phone incident. I disagree with calling his music "stale…" Maybe if you're talking about the singles, because I'd argue that Bad Bunny's discography is the most varied among his peers. He's been mixing styles and genres since his first album.

Shakiras top 5?
Pies descalzos, sueños blancos Día especial Dónde están los ladrones (song) Que me quedes tú Poem To A Horse But I'd just put the entire FO1 as a unit as my number 2, the entire album is amazing. Same with DELL. And special mentions to Amarillo/Gordita/Lo que más/Que vuelvas/Estoy aquí (MTV Unplugged)/Mon Amour/Dreams For Plans/Don't Bother/She Wolf/Loba.

John Galliano bows out of Met Gala amid backlash
Yes, it's deplorable to have been documented making virulent racist and antisemitic statements in at least three separate occasions, regardless of when they took places. Actions have consequences and, all things considered, Galiano has managed to continue thriving despite his past behavior. I believe in change, but people are also in their right to choose not to move on, and it sucks for him, then, that this year the MET Gala happens to fall on at the same time as Holocaust Remembrance, so his detractors were never going to let this sit. And please, be serious. I'm not even going to answer why this is not the same as honoring a woman who has been dead for 50 years.

John Galliano bows out of Met Gala amid backlash
I agree with your point and I think that museums are a curated space that should aim to lead visitors to ask questions and confront their perspectives, but a MET Gala red carpet is not such place: it would be a night of celebrities singing praises to a man with a deplorable past who is still thriving in his industry, and whose past would surely not be brought up at all in those 30-second interviews designed to get a vanilla sound bite and social media engagement. Calling off that circus was the only reasonable option if the organizers wanted to avoid some very, very negative press.

Tini parts ways with her Dad as a manager after finding out she owns nothing
She's been famous for years, imagine if we're shocked, Tini must be feeling absolutely crushed. And less than four months before her wedding, wtf. This is how I learned she went back with De Paul—the article makes it seem like he's supporting her throughout this entire process, so I hope it continues that way.

Shakira: LMYNL World Tour
I'm going on the 26th, but I've been thinking of buying a last-minute ticket for one of the last shows, since we have a long weekend and I want to see the concert seated and enjoy the amenities. My friend and I will be lining up all day on the 26th because we have regular front stage, so I doubt we'll get to see much of the field.

What exactly should Paulina Rubio do to get another HIT?
She should do a Papito and record new version of her hits with popular old and new artists so the younger generations discover how her catalogue is absolute killer. Her collab in "Nena" was a hit back in the day, so she should reuse that formula for herself. Then, release a great pop song and see if it catches on.

''Dancing Queen" by ABBA turns 50
Legendary hit from a legendary group. Like Bohemian Rhapsody for Queen, it's not my favorite and I won't play it on my own, but I'll never not get life when it appears in the wild. Everyone who goes to Stockholm needs to visit the ABBA museum, seriously one of the most entertaining and fun museums I've ever visited.

Is Karol G's prime time over?
Since some of you like to compare her with Shakira and Bad Bunny, look at how Bad Bunny "flopped" when he released the Perro Negro album. Dating Kendall, throwing phones, with only Perro Negro hitting… And then, his biggest era, even surpassing UVST. And look at how many times Shakira manages to get successful singles and albums. You can never count out Latin artists, so no, she can repeak at any point, especially with her upcoming and already successful tour. I wish this was true, but she needs to stop trying to sing songs for people with strong vocal skills. Look at the Bruno Mars collab and her attempts at mariachi. Karol's great when she plays to her strengths.

Karol G to outsold Shakira again, surprised?
Because she hasn't made a proper album in 10 years, just playlists. Why make an effort and be artistic when you'll still get rewarded with Grammy nominations, wins, radio/streaming hits and a highly lucrative tour? I hate how she keeps winning despite her mediocrity, so I totally understand why you and your brethren get so pressed about her success. It's a hard pill to swallow.

I don't care much for anime
Anime just makes me feel old now, I keep hearing people talk about Freiren, Dandadan, Demon Slayer… and I want to watch stuff, but I can't be bothered after getting disappointed by the MESS that was Attack On Titan, so I end up rewatching Monster, Ouran or FMA:B every year. Most people still don't care for anime.

Harry Styles and Karol G had the biggest declines ever, agreed?
Certain Shakira fans are petty and dumb, but you end up doing the same, so what's the point. Also, let's not forget Troquicoqueta's streaming success is pretty much due to one massive hit in SATHC, with other songs underperforming. Shakira had Te Felicito and Monotonía pre-release, Acróstico, and obviously Session 53. I don't care for Harry Styles and his boring music, but as long as he's selling out his tour, who cares about the album's popularity. KG's album is good and I hope it catches on with the public who is clearly not over how meh Tropicoqueta was.

Diet sodas are ass. Agreed?
I'm too diabetic to drink regular pop. If I have to use insulin to eat ****, I'd rather eat more food I enjoy while drinking a Diet Coke on the side than wasting my insulin to curb 17392 grams of pure sugar. The other day I tried fountain Exotic Zero Fanta and it was a religious experience.

Is KAROL G a copycat?
I am the first to hate on Tropicoqueta, but the DTMF comparisons are stupid because they are two completely different projects: one is tied to Puerto Rican music and the other is an homage to a whole bunch of Latin American genres. What, were they both copying, idk, Luis Miguel's "México en la piel"?

NBC: How scrutiny over Ariana Grande's weight affects people with eating disorders
"Scrutiny" makes the topic impossible to avoid, but those of us who have known about Ariana's history regarding food and, mostly importantly, have eyes, don't need the "reports" to get triggered. I felt uncomfortable watching the opening scene of Wicked and I felt even worse after watching the tour videos. I know not to watch her and I won't criticize her for just being out there, working and living her life, but releasing the Petal video? Irresponsible. And everything surrounding her and trying to wave off what's obvious is the real trigger.
