Weeds is actually BEAUTIFUL. It's been awhile since they release something so soulful and that's only possible with the first lineup members. They definitely took a risk and sadly it's just not second single material. Still, the quality is more than solid!!!

I don't hate Weeds and understand the soundscape etc., but I do think the diehard fans are giving it way too much and I suspect it's recency bias + lauding anything they drop after all they've been through. 

 

It's just ok, sounds like a demo/album interlude filler, and never should have been released. It didn't harm anything, but it feels equally rather pointless (that they did release it.

 

I also don't buy that they (Sugababes fans) conventionally listen to that kind of stripped-back, ultra-non-commercial stuff. Especially in the sense of wanting/expecting it from them. 

 

Moans aside, this new track sounds incredible and can't wait for its release!

Weeds isn't exactly my favorite Sugababes song or single, but there's something really intriguing about its sound. Their vocals are just so magical and soothing. 

 

I honestly can't wait for this one - it feels like it might be their best yet!

 

It seems like some intern must've messed up and dropped all the snippets early. The first one should have been The Truck teaser but someone also uploaded a YouTube preview (showing a release date of 26.6.2025). Mutya even had a video on her Instagram where she was lipping exactly to this audio. Now it's all gone, except for The Truck.

Mutya looks stunning and it's interesting to hear her sing over a 'Pop' melody as I'm so used to hearing her croon her favourite RnB jams on Facebook (I know "Jungle" was Pop but this is stronger melodically).

I can't wait for this. Sounds like a huge bop.
