I agree that this was always too 2017/18 to truly be a smash, but these numbers are surprisingly great. This is generating some buzz, awareness, and goodwill with radio for them.

 

Their team has done an incredible job of marketing and setting them up for a HUGE era in 2026. My hunch is that they've been saving the strongest songs for the full length album. Given the absolutely insane investment Hybe/Geffen have poured into this group, the (mostly) generic shopped-around demos they've released so far don't really make a ton of sense unless they were always meant to be GP primers for the singles they REALLY want to stick. Keeping the aces up their sleeve, so to speak, for once they've established a strong enough US audience.

Gabriela is catchy but that's about it. There are lots of parts in the song that are empty and monotonous 

 

maybe layered vocals, harmonies adlibs from the only 2 vocalists in the group would've elevated it but HYBE is allergic to that oh well

Hybe acts tend to put a lot of minis albums but they really need to put a full album next year!

Next year is going to be huge for them between Lollapalooza and Coachella.

What hair colors do you think would work for next era? I do like them with all black hair but I think the pink and orange got tired on Megan. I feel like she would look better with darker warmer colors versus these cool tone oranges and pinks. I feel like Yoonchae might do her hair next era.

I'm surprised the girls don't have more stans here as they seem to have a big queer fanbase and they have blown up soooo much. the interactions they get on twitter and tiktok are crazy, they're viral for everything they do 

 

I'm with that user, they need better songs, a more cohesive project, original songs and not demos, and they can get a smash. I think a y2k concept would be perfect for them as we saw how the gap add made so much noise + that iconic buttons up performance from DA.
