That seems……rather specific. 'Baby One More Time' wouldn't meet this criteria but it was still a Blockbuster debut album.

Mariah's debut sold 15 million WW, was #1 for 11 weeks, was #1 on the Billboard album year-end chart for 1991, #27 on decade-end chart, had 4 #1 songs, won two Grammys (nominated for AOTY). 

Most pop girls had a big first album it's almost easier to think of the artists that did not.

Pearl Jam's Ten went Diamond and had numerous huge hits on the Mainstream & Alt Rock Charts. Alive, Even Flow, Jeremy, Oceans & Black were all huge hits. Peaked at #2 on the BB200 either behind Garth Brooks or the Bodyguard Soundtrack.

 

Hootie & The Blowfish's debut album Cracked Rear View hit #1 & went Diamond & produced 4 T20 H100 hits.

 

Van Halen I only peaked at #19 but went Diamond & produced 5 hit singles, some considered legendary in Rock history.
