It's really not a long wait imo. At least doesn't feel like it now that the album's announced anyway and we just got Frozen.

I just mean in terms of the length of time between her teasing / soft-announcing, then officially announcing, then releasing. All her singles - I just don't get the "strategy"

They're probably trying to get a certain number of pre-saves before release

 

honestly this look in a glass like box would be a better eat than the black cover. it is a fire song anyways

I think some of you need to remember that we, the core fanbase, make up a minuscule per centage of the amount of people that will actually listen to this since a lot of streams will ultimately come from casual listeners or people that hear it on the radio. The general audience are not checking for her the same way we are, so the "long wait" is only noticeable to the 5% of us that are checking her socials religiously. Plus I think the announcement timeframe has been pretty standard for other releases, so it's whatever to me at this point 

Also, the cover art is gorgeous and I think my favourite so far out of all of her singles

That's all valid for many artists, but not quite as much for a niche artist with a small fanbase like JADE's. My guess is many of us are "online" -- not saying you're wrong at all, but I bet that % is notably larger for her vs. others. Unfortunately!

I doubt there'll be physical singles since the album is up for pre-order now

It wouldn't be jade If the cover wouldn't be "different", her in a plastic box would be too basic i guess

 

Finally a release date but another single teasing for almost a month considering it got leaked months ago is just...

 

But mother is delivering as always, so excited 

Love the cover!! Crossing fingers so the video will have replay value and the song blows on streaming. 

I'm just not feeling whatever is happening with this era but I'm super happy she keeps going 

 

I just wish she would have booked a few more European Festivals for this summer 

 

It would have been a great opportunity to create some buzz around her and gain new listeners
